Mission: Cut property taxes and implement strict caps so families are never hit with sudden, massive tax hikes again.

Why: Wayne County families work hard for their homes and land, and they deserve predictability—not surprise tax increases that strain household budgets and threaten generational farms. As Commissioner, my first priority will be lowering property taxes and establishing responsible, conservative caps on future increases so government can never grow at the expense of our citizens. We must protect homeowners, seniors on fixed incomes, and farmers whose livelihoods depend on stable, affordable property taxes.

Strengthen Our Local Schools

Mission: Champion strong, accountable public schools that prepare students for real-world success.

Why: Our children deserve safe classrooms, high standards, and schools that work hand-in-hand with parents—not distant bureaucracies. I will support practical policies that give teachers the tools they need while ensuring taxpayers see real results and accountability. Strong schools build strong communities and a skilled workforce for the future.

Defend and Preserve Rural Communities

Mission: Protect farmland, support agriculture, and stand up for the rural families who are the backbone of Wayne County.

Why: Our county’s heritage and economy are rooted in agriculture and land stewardship. I will fight over-development, defend property rights, and ensure rural voices are always respected in county decisions. Preserving farmland and our rural way of life is essential to protecting Wayne County’s identity and long-term prosperity.

Support Military Families and Honor Their Service

Mission: Ensure military families have the support, resources, and community they deserve.

Why: With Seymour Johnson Air Force Base at the heart of our county, we have a duty to make Wayne County a place where service members and their families are welcomed and able to thrive. As the father of a U.S. Navy service member, I understand firsthand the sacrifices our military families make, and I will work to ensure they always have strong local support.

Empower Local Small Businesses

Mission: Cut red tape, promote economic growth, and make Wayne County a place where local businesses can prosper.

Why: Small businesses create jobs, drive innovation, and keep our local economy strong. Conservative, common-sense leadership means reducing unnecessary regulations, encouraging entrepreneurship, and supporting the businesses that invest in our communities and employ our neighbors.

Protect Taxpayers with Responsible, Conservative Budgeting

Mission: Keep taxes low, spend wisely, and protect county resources for the long term.

Why: Families are already stretched thin, and county government must live within its means just like they do. I will prioritize essential services, eliminate wasteful spending, and ensure every tax dollar is used responsibly and transparently. Fiscal discipline is the foundation of good conservative governance.

Strengthen Public Safety and Emergency Services

Mission: Ensure law enforcement, fire departments, EMS, and emergency management have the resources and support needed to protect Wayne County families.

Why: Public safety is a core responsibility of county government. Our first responders put their lives on the line every day, and they deserve leadership that fully supports recruitment, retention, modern equipment, and rapid response across both rural and urban areas. Safe communities are the bedrock of strong families, strong schools, and sustained economic growth.
