LOWER
PROPERTY TAXES.
Wayne County families are working hard to make ends meet, and local government should respect every dollar taxpayers earn.
Kevin believes homeowners, farmers and seniors should not be priced out of their own communities by an ever-growing property tax burden.
As commissioner, Kevin will push for disciplined budgeting and greater accountability over how county tax dollars are spent. Before asking taxpayers for more, county government should look for unnecessary spending, eliminate waste and make sure existing resources are being used effectively.
Kevin will also support policies that strengthen Wayne County's tax base through responsible economic growth. Attracting new investment and creating good-paying jobs can help grow county revenues without continually placing the burden on existing property owners.
PROTECT
AGRICULTURE.
Agriculture is more than an industry in Wayne County. It is part of our identity, our economy and our way of life.
Generations of local farm families have helped build this county, and Kevin believes county government should be a partner to agriculture, not another obstacle.
Kevin will advocate for protecting working farmland and preserving the ability of farmers to operate and grow their businesses. As Wayne County continues to develop, he believes growth should be managed responsibly so that new development does not unnecessarily threaten productive agricultural land or create conflicts for existing farms.
He will also support efforts to strengthen agricultural education, agribusiness and opportunities for young and beginning farmers. Protecting agriculture means making sure the next generation has an opportunity to continue Wayne County's farming tradition.

OUR MILITARY.
Seymour Johnson Air Force Base is an essential part of Wayne County's economy, identity and future.
The men and women who serve there are not simply stationed in our community. They and their families are our neighbors, customers, volunteers and friends.
Kevin believes Wayne County must remain one of America's most military-friendly communities. That means maintaining a strong relationship between county government, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base and the families who call Wayne County home.
It also means planning for the future. Kevin will support responsible development around the base, advocate for infrastructure that strengthens the installation and work with community partners to make Wayne County an attractive place for military families to live, work and raise their children.
Supporting Seymour Johnson also strengthens Wayne County's economy. Kevin will work to capitalize on the opportunities created by the base and help connect transitioning service members, military spouses and veterans with local employers and opportunities.
